We need your help
| The Karma Lekshey Ling Institute is divided into four sections:
1) Beginner Section In 2010 we will have 220 monks and nuns in these four sections for whom the Institute has to provide food. We spend approximately Nepali Rs. 380.000 every month for food. Currently the only sources of income for this are contributions and offerings from Dharma supporters in exchange for aspiration prayers (shapten). The Institute has no other source of income and the Institute is struggling to provide the food for the monks and nuns. Furthermore, due to increased prices as well as an increasing number of new monks every year, the Institute's expenditure is increasing every year. In order to solve this problem and to ensure that we can provide food for all monks and nuns, we formed the Lekshey Ling Livelihood Support Committee. |
|
| We created the Karma Lekshey Ling Livelihood Support Committee because the food expenses have increased in the last years and the Institute is facing a growing number of new students every year. The goal of the Livelihood Support Committee is to ensure that the Institute has sufficient funds for food and that we can accept new students without facing difficulties in providing food for them. Therefore we seek your kind support and generosity to offer whatever amount you might be able to donate.

In general the expenditure of Karma Lekshey Ling has increased more and more over the last years. Especially the amount spent on food for the monks and nuns has increased substantially. Therefore we created the Karma Lekshey Ling Livelihood Support Committee. Goal: Raise funds to cover costs of food for monks and nuns |
